Well folks, I have had an opportunity to play around with Windows 7 on my MacBook Pro Unibody..

I am impressed with the ease of it’s installation and the improved speed at which it starts, runs and turns off. Very nice improvement. But it is just Vista with another service pack tied onto it. It is not a revolutionary advancement from the last debacle known as Vista. Nope it is rather a service pack of sorts. Only this service pack, you will ll have to PAY for! Sure they added touch support and a new task bar that is modeled after the OSX Dock, But again.. service pack. IT is the same core OS, with many of the same flaws and bugs that Vista has.

Microsoft system builder partners who’ve been feeling queasy about the impending Jan. 31, 2009, deadline for selling PCs with Windows XP pre-installed can now breathe a bit easier, as Microsoft is giving them a way to obtain XP licenses through distribution after the deadline.In an e-mail to ChannelWeb, a Microsoft spokesperson confirmed the existence of a flexible inventory program that will allow distributors to place their final orders for Windows XP OEM licenses by Jan. 31, 2009, and take delivery against those orders through May 30.

Previously, distributors had planned to purchase as many XP licenses as they could afford before Jan. 31, 2009, and sell them after the deadline. But once that inventory was gone, they’d have no choice but to turn away XP-seeking customers.

Obama looks to be pushing forward with his plans of a Google government. Likely the most ambitious move any president or president-elect has ever made. A move which will give an unprecedented level of access to John Q. Public.

Is he crazy? This blogger does not think so. As a matter of fact, I think it is the best idea since microchips! A president who actually wants the World to know what he is truly doing? Imagine that!

That’s right folks,you read that correctly! Less than a month on the market and Google’s new Phone OS, Android will be used in it’s second device. Australian phone maker Kogan, has announced their new handset the Agora, will hit the shelves on January 29th.

The Agora will come in two flavors. A standard version and a Pro version which will include a 2.0 Megapixel camera, wifi and gps. The phone itself has a backlit qwerty keyboard, a 2.5 inch touchscreen,….
